William Bryan Bell, MD  Medical Director

William Bryan Bell, MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist currently working in private practice in Franklin, TN (Cool Springs). His practice is dedicated to the treatment of children, adolescents and adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions.  Dr. Bell and his team seek to provide an atmosphere of care where    a patient’s unique mental, physical and spiritual needs are addressed simultaneously.

 

 

 

Dr. Bell received his undergraduate degree from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee and completed his medical school training at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, Kentucky in 1988.  After completing his formal psychiatric training with the United States Air Force at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland AFB, Texas (San Antonio), he began his psychiatric career at Edwards Air Force Base in California.   Before moving to Tennessee, he worked at the Remuda Ranch Center for Anorexia and Bulimia in Wickenburg, Arizona.  In 2000 after moving to Middle Tennessee, he worked as a staff psychiatrist with Centerstone Community Mental Health Centers, Inc., Nashville (2000-2002) where he helped implement tele-psychiatry to remote Middle Tennessee locations.  Dr. Bell has been the medical director of LifeCare Family Services, Inc, Nashville (2012-2017) where he provided psychiatric supervision to well over 20 psychiatric nurse practitioners.  In 2018 Dr. Bell had the privilege of providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment for his most severly depressed patients.  Dr. Bell has been in private practice since 2001.  He and his wife, Jody, live in Franklin and have raised four children and have six beautiful grandchildren.

 

 

Kaitlyn Averett, APRN, BC  

Kaitlyn Averett is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. She  treats children, adolescent, and adult patients with medication management   and utilizes a holistic model of treatment.
